Mike Renstrom, Board President

Mike Renstrom has a long track record of racial reconciliation among the African American community. He has made many trips to Mendenhall Mississippi for Reconciliation and Development in an effort to learn more about helping hurting communities. He has a heart for helping others and having fun while doing it. Mike finished his senior year of high school as a homeless student and then went on to build a very successful business and construct his own beautiful home. For nearly 30 years Mike has owned Quality Auto Glass. The marine division is known along the west coast as the premiere glass repair specialist. Mike personally works on the million dollar yachts of the rich and famous.
Rick Newell, Founder and Board Vice President
Rick Newell had a good career in technology working at companies like Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and Cingular. Rick, however, felt he wanted to try something different. Instead, he went to work at the Rotary Boys & Girls Club in the Central District of Seattle. Newell applied the same work ethic he gave in the corporate world to the kids at the club. The result was the youth he mentored won 9 national awards from a pool of a 2 million kids over a 7 year period. From his years at the Boys & Girls Club Newell came to firmly believe that the need of the hour in the urban core is positive male role models. Rick is happily married to his wife, Rebecca, and loves being a dad to his four boys.
Andy Sullivan, Treasurer

Andy began his career in banking then took a brief turn through management consulting before continuing his passion in finance at Starbucks. With an undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University and an MBA from UW, Andy has previously served on non-profit boards, leading finance and development committees. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and is an avid runner, hiker, and skier.
Maggie Montgomery, Secretary
By day, Maggie is a consultant at Microsoft and has worked in the web publishing world for 20 years. She’s passionate about sports and works game days in various roles for the Seattle Seahawks, Sounders and Storm.
Michelle Boston, Board Member

Prior to co-founding Joint Media Partners, a communications consultancy based in Seattle, Michelle was a legal compliance attorney in the financial and healthcare sectors. She has served on several non-profit / not-for-profit boards, including acting as Executive Director of the Gary Payton Foundation. Michelle enjoys music, travel and spending time with her family.
Mark Canlis, Board Member
Owner, Canlis Restaurant
Mark grew up working in restaurants and, upon graduating from Cornell University, served as a Captain in Air Force Special Operations. He met his wife, Anne Marie, while living in Manhattan and working with famed restaurateur Danny Meyer. Mark and his brother now preside over the family restaurant in Seattle. Under their leadership, Canlis has repeatedly been named one of the top restaurants in America.

Cedric works as a trusted partner to help philanthropists build relationships and bridge their passions with critical community needs. From families to nonprofits to businesses, Cedric works with a wide variety of philanthropists to ensure they receive a personal approach to their community impact. Cedric has expertise in sales, marketing and consulting. He previously managed national partnerships at Casey Family Programs, a foundation focused on improving child welfare. Cedric enjoys time with family, playing golf and capoeira.
Robert H. Fulton, II, Board Member

Fulton Law was founded by Robert H. Fulton, II. Robert has a degree in Political Science from Montana State University, and a J.D. from The Ohio State College of Law. At Montana State University, Robert was the first student to deliver the invocation and benediction at the graduation ceremony. For more than eight years, Robert brought those same qualities to his employment and commercial litigation practice where he consistently obtained successful results for his clients.
Gregg Hatch, Board Member

Prior to transitioning into a career in real estate, Gregg spent a number of years helping to lead and consult with large healthcare organizations. Most recently, he was in leadership roles with University of Washington Physicians and the Virginia Mason Medical Center. Gregg is active in his church, where he serves as an Elder. He loves playing and coaching basketball and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
Jimmy Hung, Board Member
Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office
Jimmy Hung is a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office located in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 1999 and joined the King County Prosecutor’s Office that year. During his time in the office he has worked on all levels of felony and misdemeanor trial practice including homicide, sexual assault, and domestic violence. He served as the 2nd Chair of the Domestic Violence Unit for 5 years and currently is the Chair of the Juvenile Unit supervising deputy prosecutors, victim advocates, and staff at the Youth Services Center in Seattle, Washington. Jimmy has previously served on the Board of the Asian Bar Association of Washington and currently serves on the WSBA Criminal Law Section Executive Committee where he was once Chair. Jimmy also serves as a board member of the Community Leaders Roundtable of Seattle (CLRS).

Ricardo works at MultiCare Auburn Hospital. He is a board certified Internist working as a Hospital Physician. Ricardo is the Medical Director for the Stroke Program. His undergraduate degree was at New York University and medical degree is from Albany Medical School. Ricardo enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Lois Newell, Shoreline Washington. Served on the Board for The New Horizons Foundation in Colorado Springs and also on the Board of The Navigators. Has managed the business end of her husband’s Podiatric Medical Practice in Seattle, WA for nearly 45 years.
Diane Terry, Board Member

Diane is originally from Detroit and received her BS from Tennessee State University in Electrical Engineering. She has built a wonderful career at Starbucks over the past 15 years. She is passionate about mentoring, the STEM program and enjoys reading, running and traveling. Diane loves and is very proud of her two children.
